They can be responsible for diarrhea in ants leading to liquid feces that looks like urine.

I surveyed 829 people to know about ants, whether they pee or not, and what they know about the nature of ants and their excretory systems.
Out of 829 people, 572 people (69%) said they do not pee as their excretory system is designed to release a combined form of urine and solid waste.
However, 208 people (25%) said ants can urinate on them as they have suffered from the liquid spills from these tiny insects.
While the remaining 49 people (6%) said they had no idea about it and had never seen these insects peeing, they confirmed the pooping process.
The presence of powdery material around nests indicates that these are excrements of these tiny creatures.
When you keep them in your hands, there is a risk of pooping by ants as these tiny creatures defecate after a short duration to make themselves lighter, but they do not pee.
