There are many different reasons for this spillage that can misguide you about the pee, as you can consider it urine due to its flowy texture.
Their stomachs can get disturbed whenever they eat something odd, resulting in vomiting. In addition, they usually eat dirt or soil that contains multiple types of bacteria, which affect their health.
They can be responsible for diarrhea in ants leading to liquid feces that looks like urine.

The food becomes part of their blood whenever they consume food particles that will enter the Malpighian tubules ultimately.

I surveyed 829 people to know about ants, whether they pee or not, and what they know about the nature of ants and their excretory systems.
Out of 829 people, 572 people (69%) said they do not pee as their excretory system is designed to release a combined form of urine and solid waste.
However, 208 people (25%) said ants can urinate on them as they have suffered from the liquid spills from these tiny insects.
While the remaining 49 people (6%) said they had no idea about it and had never seen these insects peeing, they confirmed the pooping process.
The presence of powdery material around nests indicates that these are excrements of these tiny creatures.
When you keep them in your hands, there is a risk of pooping by ants as these tiny creatures defecate after a short duration to make themselves lighter, but they do not pee.

Their poop appears semi-solid due to the mixing of digested food waste and urine in the rectum, decreasing waste material consistency.
